My passion for photography developed while attending college. Becoming an architect of building design or becoming an architect of the image, I chose the latter. I studied photojournalism at San Diego State University and worked with various newspapers. I had the opportunity to attend the internationally acclaimed Brooks Institute of Photography, where I studied commercial photography and became an honors graduate. After managing the Commercial Photography studio, “Pacific Image”, in San Francisco for eight years, I packed up and moved to Colorado in 1999. I have been in business here in Colorado the last 23 years as Digital Dawgs, which has been renamed Studio 27. My wife, Cindy, and I have two wonderful children – Hannah and Logan.
